Join the Bergen Advent Marathon on Saturday, December 6, where you can choose between a half marathon (21,097 meters) or a marathon (42,195 meters). The course consists of an out-and-back route on asphalt roads that are completely car-free or have very little traffic, and a large part of the distance runs along a disused railway track in idyllic, rural surroundings. For marathon runners, the same loop is run twice, and the course is slightly undulating except for a hilltop at Fana Stadium that must be run up and down from both sides.
